As excellent as theater ever gets

See it if you lived through 9/11 in NYC and want a theatrical experience second to none. I am grateful to have ad the opportunity to see it.

Don't see it if you are not lucky enough to see it before it closes. Otherwise go see it. Theater like this is why you live in NYC. Read more

Resonant, Great acting, Masterful, Profound, Must see

See it if you like powerful plays based on true events that are absolutely riveting. Based on the Grenfell apartment building disaster in England.

Don't see it if you don't like heavy subjects dealing with death and injustice. Also it is long at 3 hours (but worth it).

Profound, Must see, Great staging, Great writing, Great acting

See it if You like deeply moving Documentary Theater w/ original cast from the National Theater. The ending is awesome. Run to see this powerful show

Don't see it if You only like upbeat theater with Razzle Dazzle. You don't like drama about a Tragic Fire caused by Government and Contractor Corruption. Read more

Profound, Intelligent, Great staging, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want to see documentary theatre done right. This is about giving voice to silenced people, and it works from beginning to end.

Don't see it if you need a light evening in the theatre. While the first hour has moments of humor, the next two are brutal and enraging.

Must see, Intense, Great acting, Riveting, Epic

See it if you like powerful docudramas that will keep you riveted. This transfer from the National Theatre is superb.

Don't see it if you don't like docudrama or prefer lighter, fluffier stories.

Devastating, Intense, Thought-provoking, Activist, Great acting

See it if you're down for a documentary/art-as-activism play on the Grenfell Tower fire & based directly on survivor accounts.

Don't see it if you have any sort of fire-related phobia (not visually graphic, but described in detail); you'd prefer a tight & abridged version. Read more

The second act, a minute-by-minute account of the fire, is almost unbearably suspenseful.
