This surreal new play explores love and individuality across decades.

Set in 1971, 1998, and 2021, three distinct men residing in a South Brooklyn railroad apartment engage in writing, reading, lovemaking (or lack thereof), eating, drinking, dieting, experiencing relationships, reconciling, arguing, and flirting, all simultaneously.

The Fires is a surreal, fresh play delving into the dynamics of individuality in a world of others, exploring the nuances of love along the way.

See it if you want stunningly great theatre that will challenge you and move you to tears - this is so real and so honest. A great pleasure.

Don't see it if the lives of 6 gay Black men (w/1 mom & 1 sister) would not take your breath away with their truths, darkness and pain in our hostile world
