Brilliant!, Inventive, Intense

See it if you're up for a clever Macbeth re-telling, wandering further away from the source material as it progresses, placing Lady M. front & center.

Don't see it if you've never seen Macbeth before - not recommended as the first introduction to the play; Certainly knowing it will deepen your enjoyment. Read more

Intelligent, Great acting, Ambitious, Absorbing

See it if You're open to interpretations that deviate from the original, don't insist on hearing the original text throughout; acting is quite good

Don't see it if you'll probably leave disappointed if you expect the text to be as powerful as the original but it stands up pretty well on its own imho Read more

Bloody, Great staging, Edgy, Great acting, Ambitious

See it if u are interested in a different take on Macbeth though the outcome is the same; great acting, staging & some humor; at times frenetic

Don't see it if u don't like having your Shakespeare or its characters tampered with and/or you get queasy around lots & lots of blood; slightly slow start Read more

She's come undone.

See it if you love Shakespeare, you're a fan of "Macbeth"...and you don't mind at all when writers and directors play fast and loose with the Bard.

Don't see it if "Macbeth" is not one of your favorites...and you're convinced that when it comes to Shakespeare, we should all just leave well enough alone. Read more

Relevant, Great staging, Great acting, Confusing, Ambitious

See it if you want to see a different interpretation of a Shakespearian classic.

Don't see it if you are looking for a faithful adaptation or reinvention that fully "works."

Clever, Great acting, Confusing, Ambitious

See it if Unusually, original, great acting, very different interpretation

Don't see it if Confusing, one actor very difficult to understand. Fascinated but still unclear about parts of second act.
