Makes sense of 12th nts confusions, Rhapsody in grays, If music be the food of love play on, Exquisite visuals, Ravishing

See it if looking for 12thNight that makes sense of paradoxes there-in, hypnotic aural soundscape adds 2 your viewing pleasure, like Axis' work ethic

Don't see it if UC all in black & white & don't perceive grays, hate a classic interp, don't believe in sexual confusion, need uncut Shakespearean text Read more

Great sound, Delightful, Funny, Clever, Great acting

See it if you would enjoy a quick-paced version of the Bard's play with a little music, excellent costuming, hair and makeup, and, good lighting.

Don't see it if you seek a traditional production with full staging.

Confusing, Intelligent, Slow, Clever, Absorbing

See it if Director Sharp's intelligent, lean staging focuses on the sense of self-identity (esp around self delusion) over the usual comedic antics

Don't see it if The austere production gets a little confusing w/the surprise return of Sebastian & his valet Also the sightlines are somewhat hindered

Great acting, Exquisite, Confusing

See it if into Shakespearean shenanigans. Great, playful acting, exquisite costumes of a restrained color palette, minimal but creative staging.

Don't see it if well... Truly great at times, slow in others. The ending, serving as a bookend, can use further development. Read more
