See it if You want to fall in love with a variety of painfully flawed characters and let them break your heart.

Don't see it if You don't like a meditative theater experience, or don't have patience for subtlety or slow progression in theater.

Valli R gave Butler a 90

Absorbing, Great acting, Intelligent

See it if Very different take on Civil war subject. One of the best off Broadway plays around. If you like history, you'll really enjoy this one.

Don't see it if If American History doesn't interest you especially back stories of the Civil war

Delightful, Great acting, Great staging, Original

See it if fantastic cast. clever take on gossip culture. incisively humorous and at times moving. creative and engaging use of movement and props.

Don't see it if the energy of some cast members can be a little too much/over the top at times. I love the Bedlam style, but that may not be for everyone

Edmond M gave NIGHT OF THE LIVING N-WORD!! (FringeNYC) a 96

Ambitious, Edgy, Great acting, Funny, Hilarious

See it if You are fearless about confronting the legacy of racial prejudice in America. Or if you love horror films, or Neo-Futurists.

Don't see it if You think you run the world (no offence, Beyoncé). But even if that's you, you will learn something here.

bob 29 gave From the Deep (FringeNYC) a 85

Brilliantly imaginative two hander linking disparate victims of terrorist kidnappings
August 13th, 2016

See it if You seek creative, richly imaginative, stunnigly well acted, original drama that is both intellectually stimulating & emotionally involving

Don't see it if you prefer to avoid a discomforting immersion into pain & fear. Still author Cassie Seinuk's brilliance demands and rewards our attention.
