See it if You want to explore serious issues of racial justice wrapped in a campy, hilarious, genre-informed package.

Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with discussions of race relations or if you hate genre parodies.

See it if You want to learn about someone well known but unsung in popular culture. An important account of what adversity a Human being can endure.

Don't see it if you feel the subject matter would make you so uncomfortable that you'd inadvertently ruin the experience for your fellow audience members.

See it if love to laugh, enjoy NYC humor, have ever been in love, and value adventure in your theatrical experience. Brilliant writing!

Don't see it if you're an curmudgeon who doesn't enjoy new, exciting, avant garde theatre.

See it if You're in the market for a good laugh, incredible impersonations, and need a light relief from the serious drudgery on the work week.

Don't see it if You're expecting a traditional, naturalistic play -characters, puns, and silly voices galore.
