See it if you want to be genuinely moved and you are thrilled by exquisite singing. This is a story that begged to be musicalized...and it just works.

Don't see it if you have no heart.

See it if You like the original music from the film; enjoy culture; like visually stimulating and beautiful costumes and scenery; you have kids.

Don't see it if you didn't like the movie; you don't like performers and props in the aisles and throughout the theatre; musicals.

See it if You want to follow Carole along her long and rewarding career. Happiness, heartbreak, and singing included.

Don't see it if You're not a fan of jukebox musicals although almost doesn't qualify cause it's so well done.

See it if You're willing to be drawn into the redemptive world of Victor Hugo and spend hours pondering the religious overtones and complex lyrics.

Don't see it if You're adverse to melodrama and over sentimentality. Or if you want something overtly campy. This is not campy.
