Clever, Delightful, Relevant, Masterful, Great writing

See it if you want to see a top-rated cast deliver a wonderful performance of a well-written play.

Don't see it if if you are a dullard who cannot make the connection of how the message in this play is still alive today.

Delightful, Entertaining, Great acting, Overrated, Great writing

See it if You want to see a great performance by Laurie Metcalf and have some great laughs and totally enjoy yourself.

Don't see it if Hyped shows disappoint you. This isn't really a fully cooked play. It's a series of heat scenes and it ends too abruptly. Needs more work.

Clever, Thought-provoking, Funny, Ambitious, Polemical

See it if you want a thought-provoking acerbic take on the institution of marriage (led by a stellar cast). It's an ambitious experiment but succeeds.

Don't see it if you're an Ibsen purist & not open to a new chapter of a landmark play. (Though you should be. It's an interesting gamble that pays off.) Read more

See it if despite unexplained anachronisms, a brilliant twist that turns the original upside down. See it for its humor, intelligence and acting.

Don't see it if if you crave action and don't like your biases challenged.
