Fluffy, Romantic, Great singing, Entertaining, Sweet

See it if you loved the film or are looking for a fun happy night at the theater.

Don't see it if You're looking for nuance and in depth historical details about the revolution. It's very light and skims over a lot.

Solid, Superficial, Engaging, Pleasant, Uneven

See it if you want to see a perfectly pleasant musical that doesn't make you think at all and sweeps you up in its grand romantic fairy tale story.

Don't see it if you'd be frustrated by a very superficial approach to what could be a really rich thought-provoking story.

Dated, Fluffy, Meh

See it if You love the movie, you are someone who is not a hardcore musical fan, you want to be distracted by sparkly costumes

Don't see it if You are an avid musical fan, this is not a show with a strong score or book Read more

Entertaining, Great singing, Slow, Overrated, Cliched

See it if You enjoy traditional musicals. Also, the projection design is stunning so everything looks beautiful all the time.

Don't see it if You're expecting to see the movie & the magic that made the film great. This is a cut-and-dry historical epic with an unnecessary "villain."

Entertaining, Great staging, Fluffy

See it if You want to see a complete romantic fairy tale with great costumes and staging, and attractive leads, and no relationship to reality at all.

Don't see it if You want any link to historical or emotional reality, or are looking for something other than a remake of the animated movie.

Great staging, Pretty good, Fluffy, Beautiful costumes, Not like the movie

See it if you want to see a good ol' fashioned Broadway musical; if you want to see a more historical version of the animated movie.

Don't see it if you want to see a cutting-edge musical; this was a solidly good time with solid acting. Not life-changing, but a thoroughly enjoyable night
