See it if you want to see some great dancing. though the storytelling is cliched, the story itself isn't. it's a nice musical, nothing too good or bad
Don't see it if you want game-changing anything. i found every aspect of the musical (except for choreography) to be very middle of the road.
See it if you love Laura Osnes. She never disappoints. She shines in this as she does in everything. Also see it if you enjoy LOTS of choreography.
Don't see it if you are looking for something short. It's a bit much at times, everything is over staged and over choreographed but the story is nice.
See it if you want a romantic WWII story with strong dancing, talented actors/musicians.
Don't see it if you want memorable music or a deep plot.
See it if There's nothing else to see...
Don't see it if You're hoping for an earth shattering experience... it ain't that...
See it if you enjoy great singing and great dancing.
Don't see it if you are burned-out by musicals that work too hard to reach a happy ending.
See it if You love the music of the big bang era and appreciate war related theater
Don't see it if you are expecting something with a kick-line
See it if You like original music and shows where the actors play their own instruments.
Don't see it if You like big broadway numbers and catchy familiar tunes.
See it if you want to experience the charm of Osnes & Cott & to see some great 40s-inspired dancing in an otherwise forgettable, cliche-ridden musical
Don't see it if you want to hear a memorable score or see a coherent, original story. [The Greatest Generation deserves a much greater musical.]
