Must see, Indulgent, These characters can only exist in an harold pinter play!, If only real betrayal were that glamorous!!!

See it if you often fantasize of an ideal fictional love triangle with you as a beautiful, if whimsical woman at its center.

Don't see it if You don't like plays that leave things unresolved.

Also Each of the three very talented actors brought their own personal char... Read more Read less

Must see, Great staging, Great acting, Ambitious, Absorbing

See it if you want to see three beautiful performances conveying Pinter at his most articulate, stripped of any extraneous distraction.

Don't see it if you like your stories told in chronological order on a fully decorated stage complete with costumed characters and changing scenery.

Also 2 chairs on 2 circular, subtly revolving sections of the stage and a b... Read more Read less

Great acting, Resonant

See it if Great acting, mannered British humor, repressed desire, and a look at a turbulent love affair. Some good moments of suspense and passion.

Don't see it if About as well staged as you'll see this late Pinter. Not my favorite work, it's self-contained and dialog-driven, somewhat static.

70
Slow, Edgy, Banal

See it if You can enjoy a simple set, a story line that sometimes gets boring or confusing but is done in an original way

Don't see it if You want to be on the edge of your seat. I found it disappointing

90

75
Slow, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if For the actors, to reflect on a Pinter work in a new time, but not necessarily for the staging

75
Cliched, Slow, Great staging, Great acting

See it if You like Pinters work, an intense story. Or just to see the amazing cast.

Don't see it if You don't like a show with just stories and feel the format would be confusing to follow.

See it if you like family dramas

Don't see it if you hate Pinter, or reverse storytelling

75
Indulgent, Disappointing, Dated, Delightful, Great acting

Don't see it if you don't care about the cast

65
Misogynist, Overrated, Slow, Masterful, Intelligent

See it if you love Pinter and you want to see this yet again for the nth time in a very spare production that makes its misogyny clearer than ever

Don't see it if you want comedy or you want to care about people who barely care themselves - it feels more hollow than ever before

95
Masterful, Intelligent, Great staging, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if want to see an outstanding production. The cast is so good and the direction is a fine as can be.

Don't see it if you want fluffy, big sets, a musical.

Disappointing, Slow, Great acting

See it if you want to see great acting from the 3 main leads. The play is only 90 minutes, but is slow and somewhat disappointing.

Engaging, Thought-provoking, Indulgent, Interesting acting choices, Unique staging

See it if you like deliberateness in staging and acting choices being a part of what is supposed to draw you in, Charlie Cox - he was incredible

Don't see it if quiet, slow-moving storytelling is not your thing, you're going just for Tom Hiddleston

83
Intelligent, Indulgent, Edgy, Great acting, Funny

See it if you are a fan of any of the three actors appearing, also this is a great example of early contemporary theatre.

Don't see it if you are strongly put off by the ideas of extramarital affairs and dishonesty.

Also Regarding the technical aspects, while extremely sparse, the execution... Read more Read less

Boring, Dated, Posers, Moody, Passionless

See it if you are a Pinter-file and seeing everything is a must. let me be clear - that would be the only reason to see this.

Don't see it if you have anything else to do, hate wasting your time and money and don't believe that posing substitutes for acting.

3/5 Stars "Pinter's bone-dry, stiff-lipped tale of infidelity relies upon the audience's faith: It effectively asks that we take its word that these characters are interesting, and invest in them accordingly. But what if we don't? What if these three people...what if they merely bore us?"
