Resonant, Must see, Great singing, Entertaining, Absorbing

See it if You like a musical with substance that tackles difficult subject matter while at the same time, provides an infectious score to listen too.

Don't see it if You don't feel comfortable with a story that confronts suicide.

Moving, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want to see a moving and entertaining musical performed by an excellent cast.

Don't see it if you prefer a more traditional musical; you are easily upset by a show centering around a teen suicide.

Great singing, Intense, Masterful, Thought-provoking, Ambitious

See it if You enjoy deeply emotional portraits of a family/community working through loss and trauma. You want to do some cathartic crying.

Don't see it if CW: Suicide, self-harm. I wish I had known how intense it would be - the soundtrack is so beautiful but the dialogue expands on the music.

Absorbing, Entertaining, Intelligent, Resonant

See it if A great Tony-worthy show slightly diminished by overly high expectations after two years. Story is predictable but still poignant.

Don't see it if Understudy Michael Lee Brown as E.H. is serviceable but less than compelling. Other performances are a mixed bag, actingwise and singingwise

Ambitious, Absorbing, Great singing, Great acting, Resonant

See it if you want a slick, well-done musical that resonates with today's youth and families. If you liked Next to Normal, you'll love this

Don't see it if you hate musicals, don't want an emotional, yet uplifting story

Clever, Funny, Resonant, Edgy, Great singing

See it if you like dark musicals carried by strong meolodic hooks you'll be singing for days.

Don't see it if The topic of suicide is too heavy for you.

Absorbing, Great singing, Relevant, Resonant, Thought-provoking

See it if you can relate to being young, confused and desperate for a feeling of importance. And if you can appreciate a well-conceived project

Don't see it if you cannot relate to or empathize with those who are isolated and depressed. or if you do not want your emotions hammered.
