Clever, Entertaining, Funny, Must see, Great staging

See it if You liked the movie but willing to see some changes. Even if you know the movie, the show keeps your interest and is entertaining.

Don't see it if You don't like movie adaptions. There are a couple of unnecessary songs which slow down the show.

Great singing, Great staging, Entertaining

See it if you enjoyed the film. From what I remember, it stayed pretty true. Andy Karl was delightful. The car chase and a few others were fantastic.

Don't see it if you want anything beyond a light rom com. By nature, the show is a bit repetitive, but I think they do a good job of mitigating that.

See it if You enjoyed the movie, you can sit through a cliche first act for a fairly moving second act, and you don't need to be profoundly moved

Don't see it if You dislike repetition, are triggered by suicide, or go to musicals just for the choreography. You don't like Andy Karl. Read more

Refreshing, Resonant, Ambitious, Delightful

See it if you like the premise of deciding how to live your best life told with wit and humor and fun staging. Bit of darkness. Great lead actor.

Don't see it if dislike film to stage.Ugh:pink and blue people, lack of Sonny/Cher. Peeve: Fix Western PA accent! It's not Fargo(Mrs. Lancaster) or US South

Delightful, Clever

See it if Adds to the film classic with sharp commentary on feminism (work vs love life), purpose in a consumerist world, and urban vs rural divide.

Don't see it if Independent black woman character who at times outshines the white male protagonist annoys you. Read more
