See it if You wish to see Bette Midler masterfully lead a talented cast in an exhuberating performance of an American iconic musical!

Don't see it if You are as curmudgeonly as Horace Vandergelder and don't like silly (though hilariously funny) musical comedies.

See it if This was the most fun I ever had at a Broadway musical. Bette Midler is showcased at her best. The costumes are very beautiful.

Don't see it if you want something serious because you will laugh through the whole show.

See it if you like: large Broadway productions with lavish sets and grand production numbers; Bernadette Peters (who is absolutely wonderful)

Don't see it if don't like: big Broadway productions, great sing and dancing. (There are no negatives.)

See it if If nothing, just see it. I don't even really like the show, but this production is pure joy. My face hurt from smiling.
