This Broadway revival of Jerry Herman's beloved musical was the winner of four 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. Now featuring returning stars Bette Midler, David Hyde Pierce, and Gavin Creel.

A meddlesome matchmaker brings together the young clerk of a wealthy Yonkers merchant and his assistant with a widowed milliner and her assistant, while making sure she gets to marry the merchant herself. Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's musical collaboration spawned many classic songs, including "Put On Your Sunday Clothes," "Before the Parade Passes By," and the title tune.

Delightful, Entertaining, Must see, Great staging, Joyful

See it if Bette lit up the production and led the cast in such fun! Sunday clothes was terrific to look at and listen to. A joyful extravaganza.

Don't see it if You can't tolerate David Hyde Pierce's odd accent coming and going. He and Bette were enjoyable together and did a little riff with a flub.

See it if you love Bette Midler, the classic score, Jerry Hermann, big splashy, old-fashioned musicals.

Don't see it if your taste tends toward dark and serious.
