Thought-provoking, Slow, Great acting, Absorbing, Delightful

See it if Great acting and for the most part a good story. Funny and poignant.

Don't see it if Show needed an intermission. Almost 2 hrs. Intermission less made last 20 drag a little.

Good set, Slow, Thought-provoking, Great acting

See it if 3 terrific performances in a show about family dynamics, perspective; a touching conclusion; based on photographer Larry Sultan's family

Don't see it if breaking the 4th wall bothers: much shouting (mainly Lane); occasionally repetitive; interested in perspective of the other sons in the.. Read more

Humorous and heartfelt, Well-acted and -written, Ruminative, Sometimes repetitive but emotionally-invested, Thought-provoking

See it if you're a fan of intimate shows with magnanimous themes, and/or of Nathan Lane, Danny Burstein, and Zoë Wanamaker; if you're an artist.

Don't see it if seeking more than talented actors in a show about a photographer’s relationship with his aging parents and art; need upbeat storytelling. Read more

Awkward, A few good laughs, Slow pacing, Endearing, Nathan lane!

See it if You are a fan of Lane, Wanamaker, or Burstein -- or photography. Like family tales and relationship woes. Are sentimental.

Don't see it if Don't like cranky seniors and befuddled adult son dialogue. It's not a particularly well-written or -paced piece. Read more

Slow, Overrated, Great acting, Confusing

See it if you want to see three excellent actors overcome very mediocre writing; you're already a fan of Larry Sultan's work

Don't see it if you don't like fourth-wall breaks; you want theatre to let you decide what to take away from it; you want a tight script

Thought-provoking, Profound, Must see, Great acting, Absorbing

See it if you want to see three actors at their best. This is a show about family that I think will resonate with all ages.

Don't see it if you don't enjoy plays and would prefer to see a musical.

Original premise, Lacks plot, Repetitive, Thought-provoking, Great acting

See it if the reason to see this is for the 3 top notch performances. If you are interested in character studies, family drama, aging parents.

Don't see it if you want something plot driven or with a narrative arc. If you want the protagonist to grow or learn anything about himself.
