Sweeney Todd, whose real name is Benjamin Barker, uses his new alias to resume work in his barber shop above Mrs. Lovett’s struggling pie shop after being wrongfully sentenced to life imprisonment by the corrupt Judge Turpin. See it if This is a review of the 2007 staging with Patti LuPone. This was incredible-one if my favorites. Very cleverly staged. What talent!

See it if You're a fan of the story itself, along with some awesome costumes, blood and gore, and a bomb chorus.
Don't see it if You're blood-sensitive, are uncomfortable with gore and murder, or sexual/predatory references.
See it if This musical keeps you on your toes if youve never seen a horror/gore musical.
Don't see it if You have kids with you.
See it if You enjoy an edge to a tragic tale.
Don't see it if You cannot simply take the story for what it is without hating most every character the entire time.
See it if You like scary movies! It is a show that is mostly all sung, with very little dialogue and all the songs are incredible.
Don't see it if This is PG13 at least. There are many scenes not suitable for younger audiences. It doesn't have a very happy ending
See it if You love live interactive, engrossing, theatre with spectacular acting.
Don't see it if Don't enjoy getting up close and personal with the actors.
See it if You want to see an absolutely thrilling and exhilarating experience from beginning to end.
