Intermission

Dear Show-Score Community,

As you may remember, Show-Score went into “intermission” soon after Broadway shut down. With no shows to list and see together, we took a break and planned to return when NYC and NJ theater came back. We, like you, watched with dismay as that schedule slipped several times. Like many of our colleagues, we wondered how we might manage a second act.

We’re happy, therefore, to share that when theater reopens, Show-Score will be back.

We have been purchased by TodayTix, a company that shares our passion for theater and our commitment to the theater fan community. We both began with a belief that we could harness technology to make the theater landscape more accessible for fans and for new audiences, and this belief continues to propel us forward. That is why we believe TodayTix is the right steward of the Show-Score brand. Our co-founder Deeksha Gaur has joined the TodayTix team and will continue to lead Show-Score to ensure continuity for our community.

When theater returns, so will Show-Score’s listings, events, and reviews. Your member reviews will stay safe and sound until then, and you’ll be able to score shows once we’re back. With TodayTix’s backing, Show-Score will continue its original mission: “discover shows you’ll love, from people you trust, at the right price for you.”

We’ll share additional details in the coming months. Until then, we hope you’re keeping safe and we look forward to a time when we can gather again.

Sincerely,
Tom Melcher
