See it if You like Shakespeare comedies, awesome jazz ensemble and some good acting
Don't see it if You are not into genderswapping characters, campy humour with some bad acting
See it if you are interested in seeing a show at the Globe or to see some great acting (especially among the lovers)
Don't see it if you want Midsummer to be funny! So much of the humor was lost in this production

See it if You love great Shakespeare plays, well acted and entertaining. Great costumes, iconic venue
Don't see it if You don’t enjoy Shakespeare. The seating can be hard for the time you are watching
See it if you love Shakespeare. It's another brilliant edition of one of (in my opinion) his best plays.
Don't see it if old timey language is difficult for you to understand, or you don't like complex plots.
See it if You want a whimsical, fun and easy going Shakespeare experience.
Don't see it if You want to see the more intense Shakespeare plays. But this is still a good time.
See it if You like classic Shakespeare at the best Shakespearean theatre in the whole world.

Don't see it if You want one of Shakespeare tradegies. Some of the humor of MSND was also lost in this production.

"There’s an uneasy edge to the gleeful comedy of Elle While’s production of Shakespeare’s play. Quite right too. Though often rolled out as a merry romp, this is a story of romantic derangement and control...The darkness never overwhelms the comedy in While’s staging but it’s always there."

"At the end of the day, this play gets done so much...that it’s hard to bring something genuinely new to it, artistically. It’s perhaps a little frustrating that there’s an original route that this one might have taken that it ends up shying away from. But it’s hardly by-the-numbers tourist fodder – it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does have a jolly old time spinning it."
