Entertaining, Fluffy, Great singing, Indulgent, Great music

See it if If you are a fan of Gloria Estefan and that type of music. Typical jukebox. Entertaining but story is flimsy and a bit boring.

Don't see it if You don’t like her music or style of music.

Great singing, Disappointing

See it if you like Gloria Estefan / Miami Sound Machine music. You'll get a lot of it, all the classics.

Don't see it if you expect a fast-paced high-energy show. It tells the story of the Estefans through music, so some slower moments are expected.

If the overall effect is oddly pedestrian, the details are good... The megamix finale got the crowd on its feet, but I remained in my seat.

...it's easy to see why On Your Feet! was a solid Broadway and touring hit. It will undoubtedly make a lot of people pretty ecstatic over here too. Resistance is futile, that rhythm really is gonna get you.

Kinky Boots director Jerry Mitchell and book writer Alexander Dinelaris do a very decent job with this bio-musical, charting the Estefans’ lives...But there’s something a bit skewed about the pacing of Dinelaris’ book.

This is a script of epic dullness, by which one is usually bored and occasionally bewildered, as births, marriages and deaths all happen without any explanation.

Christie Prades is superb as the Cuban-American singer in a rags-to-riches story charged with sociopolitical significance.
