If you like this person's taste, follow him or her!
See it if You want to be completely immersed. Love intense visuals and dance. Are down with the more experimental side of theater.
Don't see it if You need a coherent plot to be interested. You aren't comfortable with violence and nudity. You don't want to have to move around.
See it if You are a fan of Tom Kitt and the cast involved. Kate Baldwin was great. You like seeing the human side of fantastical stories.
Don't see it if You are expecting a big musical with showy numbers and great effects. The book and music were both a bit underwhelming.
See it if You are a massive fan of Bob Dylan's music and are looking for something new and original on broadway. The music and performances are great
Don't see it if You are looking for a simple story or well integrated music. The first act was kind of all over the place, but the second was beautiful
See it if You enjoy well written, impactful theater performed by incredibly talented actors. Want to see Lucas Hedges debut.
Don't see it if You need some razzle dazzle in your theatrical experiences or are going for Michael Cera (he's in it, but not much)
See it if You’re very into coming of age stories and the music of Joe Icnonis. Based on what I experienced/read you'll be in an audience of fans.
Don't see it if You’re looking for consistency or nuance. It's very over top and in your face, which can be fun, but isn't for everyone.
See it if You’re just looking for a fun, silly musical. Nothing profound is happening here, just some great jokes and cool rock numbers.
Don't see it if You’re looking for high class art. There’s poop jokes, sex jokes, classic and simple good vs. bad. It sets out to be fun and thats all it is
See it if You love frozen. This is a pretty faithful recreation of the film (as best as it can be on stage). The singing and acting are spot on.
Don't see it if You wanted any twist on the movie, much of the script remains the same and many characters are impersonations of their screen counterparts
See it if You love Mean Girls and a simple, fun, modern musical. Even if you didn’t like the movie, the musical has a lot to offer
Don't see it if You really don’t care for the movie (full disclosure I don’t) and you want something a little more complex and even.
See it if You are well read and have a more intellectual based sense of humor. The play is reference after reference with little in between.
Don't see it if Trying to remember high school world history isn't your thing. Maybe it just went over my head or maybe it just wasn't my type of humor.
See it if the music was hit or miss with me, but the ones that were hits I haven’t been able to stop listening to. Just a beautiful production
Don't see it if You are expecting perfection, there are large chunks of the show where I was just so bored, that’s rare for me. also may have just been me
See it if You like extravagant, emotionally rich shows
Don't see it if I don’t know just see it
See it if You don't have a lot of money to spend, but want to see a musical with some good singing.
Don't see it if You are expecting an interesting story, characters, or music. It wasn't campy enough to be funny or serious enough for me to care.
See it if You love a good folksy, slightly depressing musical. The singing and staging alone are reason enough to go.
Don't see it if You want to walk away understanding the characters and what just happened. But Alice in Wonderland itself is a bit of a mishmash of stories
See it if You like a light hearted musical that carries the spirit of the original film while still managing to offer some commentary on gender
Don't see it if it felt a bit uneven, but this was previews so I'd cut it some slack. It's a bit more heavy handed than the film, but I liked that
See it if You want to experience the entire spectrum of human emotion at high intensity in a 2 hour period while also hearing beautiful music.
Don't see it if I can't think of a reason someone wouldn't want to, it's maybe too mature for kids, but besides that it has something for everyone.
See it if You are a massive fan of trainspotting and the idea of an immersive show is exciting to you. Also doesn’t hurt if you’re slightly inebriated
Don't see it if You hate being close to the action/touched. The play does lack the nuance of the film, leaning more towards the in you face attitude of it
See it if you want a ~magical~ experience. If you are a fan of Harry Potter you will absolutely love this, the praise is well deserved.
Don't see it if You don't like the Harry Potter series, while you don't need to be a superfan to enjoy the play it does pay to know the series.
See it if You just want to have a fun time. It's very campy and you definitely walk away feeling a little lighter.
Don't see it if You're into more serious fare and aren't huge on jukebox musicals. The story kind of suffers from trying to shape it around the songs.
See it if You like being immersed in the simple act of story telling and love an emotional rollercoaster
Don't see it if You aren’t a fan of one man shows or prefer something entirely light hearted. Much of the show is comedic until it takes a sharp turn
See it if You like a good tragi-comedy. Stunning visual displays interlaced with incredibly moving and often hilarious moments
Don't see it if You have trouble with the idea of a 7 hour show
