Capital Critics' Circle

for a previous production "An event that feels like a contemporary Jewish folktale about 20th Century immigration, where Tevye from 'Fiddler on the Roof 'is just around the corner. However it is much less amusing and its limited budget produces a much less spectacular setting. It does however include tragedy and humor...It all rung true to the point that some of the show had the feeling of docu-theatre. The dynamics of this couple were beautifully performed." Full Review

for a previous production “Elie is the consummate performer. Her lighthearted singing sparkles with dramatic energy…Disney-like musical theatre for adults, full of fun and joyous, or not so joyous sex, and lyrics that always find the humor in the most despairing moments…She has a great gift for accents and a greater gift for bringing to life a story that is not always pleasant but that finds gentle humor in human relations…A darling of a show, a show that will make you giggle a lot, and you will leave feeling good."
