See it if Family show with familiar story and scary moments. Requires attention, slow at times but riveting

See it if You like plays of ideas with long speeches, aha ian exchanges and shouty acting. Addresses relevant ideas of cultural and racial identity.

Don't see it if You need to be on th ball. Only got a vital Plot point on a dark stage because I had read the script.

See it if You like a classic musical expertly performed and sensitively interpreted.

Don't see it if You want audience participation and have a short attention span.

See it if You like a well acted and written play, dark, at times funny,

Don't see it if You want a logical plot (balloons perleaaaaze!) a laugh a minute and something up to date

See it if A play In Wilson’s ten play Chicago cycle. Great ensemble piece, of its time but credibly acted and utterly engrossing.

Don't see it if Ethic themes do not interest you.

See it if You like an alternative take on a classic musical

Don't see it if You like traditional productions

See it if You are up for a Subversive and incisive political thriller

Don't see it if You like a nice chat in the interval (there isn’t one) about what else you’ve seen the actors in on the telly.

See it if You liked the film, enjoy girly chick lit and jokes about it and a love story with a sassy heroine.

Don't see it if You get cold at outdoor venues, like power ballads and lots of action.

Also Interesting revival that makes Elle woods and her love interests Black but doesn’t otherwise address the limitations of the original. Cortney Bowman excelled as Elle and is barely off stage. See it if You like a good power ballad, American accents, a lively band and not too much plot.

Don't see it if You dislike the glorification of gun crime,props falling off the stage and swearing.
