See it if This is hard. I thought everything about this show was ordinary, verging on boring. Pretty to look at, and yes, some wonderful vocals.
Don't see it if You want a great (or even good) book. Mary Beth Peil was the best thing about the show, and she's just left.
See it if You are even remotely a Fiddler fan! This was BY FAR the most moving, beautiful production of Fiddler I've ever seen.
Don't see it if 1. You hate Fiddler 2. You are an anti-Semite. Other than that.....stunning.
See it if You are a huge Carole King fan.
Don't see it if You actually want something to happen. I love her music, but her life isn't really that interesting.
See it if You feel strongly about supporting LGBT issues. A beautifully touching story of family and identity.
Don't see it if You are uncomfortable with issues of sexuality.
See it if You enjoy books to plays, you enjoy unique staging
Don't see it if Thinking bothers you
See it if You can appreciate a small story about the human experience.
Don't see it if You are only dazzled by fancy, showy, musicals. This is quiet and sublime.
