See it if You love Disney, and you love the catchy soundtrack. If you're looking for an iconic show that has big effects and big voices.
Don't see it if You aren't into semi-cliched, mainstream musicals. I mean, it's Wicked. Can't get much more mainstream than that.
See it if You want an uplifting show with a catchy soundtrack and a great cast. Which I assume pretty much everyone wants. It's a very good show.
Don't see it if You don't like somewhat unreasonable/predictable happy endings. It's not just for kids, but it's not a very complex plot either.
See it if You are looking for a lighthearted show with an enthusiastic and talented cast. Good for children as they can see kids their age on stage.
Don't see it if You're looking for something thought provoking or new. Though enjoyable, the plot is almost identical to the movie (with music added).
See it if You enjoy classic, more operatic musicals. Fantastic actors, intricate plot, lovely music.
Don't see it if You'll get tired of singing for a straight 3 hours-- it's quite long with minimal dialogue.
See it if You love a comedy that has substance and is actually saying something, with great music and actors.
Don't see it if You want to be happy or entertained the entire time. Some parts are quite deep, and you'll probably cry. Not great for kids either.
See it if You loved the movie and like shows like Heathers, Legally Blonde, etc. The plot stays quite true to the movie, and the actors are fantastic.
Don't see it if You aren't into comedies and don't like semi-inappropriate jokes, mostly about teens. And if you don't like belting for 2 hours straight.
See it if You enjoy a huge spectacle with grand sets, dramatic music, and complex characters.
Don't see it if You are looking for a new, fresh show-- it has been on Broadway for decades and, to my knowledge, little has changed.
See it if You're looking for an enthusiastic audience and actors with a clear passion for their work.
Don't see it if You're looking for big effects or sets. The minimalist set and props result in a show carried almost exclusively by the (fantastic) actors.
