Emperor has no clothes, Great acting, Disappointing

See it if You're Pinter groupie or mother of one of the, admittedly brilliant, actors.

Don't see it if Reverse chronology robs of dramatic tension. Blank stage seems pretentious. Characters’ arty jobs reinforce privileged, out of touch people.

Masterful, Intense, Resonant, Raw

See it if Like brilliant acting in intense scenes that push you emotionally and morally. Singing nicely complements dialogue.

Don't see it if Your views on abortion are fixed or physical/ sexual violence upset you. Not for squeamish. Lahti is wow. Voices impressive.

Funny, Clever, Quirky, Cliched, Great staging

See it if You like farce, political skewering. Staging very clever. One to watch: Michael Urie. Fabulous.

Don't see it if You don't like broad stereotyping humor. Including gender and class based stereotypes. It's not deep.

Indulgent, Slow, Ambitious

See it if Like somber political statements about women in poverty.

Don't see it if You want subtlety.

Great singing, Great acting, Nostalgic

See it if You want a mini history of recent Broadway. Fabulous performances. Parham, Yazbeck (tap!), Cooper are wow.

Don't see it if You seek plot, cohesion. Have to tolerate some cliched, out dated numbers.
