Don't see it if Reverse chronology robs of dramatic tension. Blank stage seems pretentious. Characters’ arty jobs reinforce privileged, out of touch people.
See it if Like brilliant acting in intense scenes that push you emotionally and morally. Singing nicely complements dialogue.
Don't see it if Your views on abortion are fixed or physical/ sexual violence upset you. Not for squeamish. Lahti is wow. Voices impressive.
See it if You like farce, political skewering. Staging very clever. One to watch: Michael Urie. Fabulous.
Don't see it if You don't like broad stereotyping humor. Including gender and class based stereotypes. It's not deep.
See it if Like somber political statements about women in poverty.
Don't see it if You want subtlety.
See it if You want a mini history of recent Broadway. Fabulous performances. Parham, Yazbeck (tap!), Cooper are wow.
Don't see it if You seek plot, cohesion. Have to tolerate some cliched, out dated numbers.
See it if You like strong drama. Intensity peppered with wit.
Don't see it if You don't like loud sudden noises. Or if you prefer musicals.
