See it if Gorgeously designed. Gyllenhaal and Ashford are more in their element in Act 2 -- Act 1 had many missed moments. Overall still enjoyable

See it if You love Carole King and cheesy, simple, but nevertheless entertaining jukebox musicals!

See it if You love immersive musical theatre. It's not the most challenging but Malloy's music is intricate and beautiful to listen to. Great ensemble

See it if You love exciting, original, musicals that are bursting with life. Catchy music plus an incredible poignant story.
Don't see it if You dislike hip hop music or aren't down to see actors of color portray dead white guys.
See it if You love LuPone and Ebersole and want to see them sing well.
Don't see it if You like theatre to enlighten or challenge you. War Paint does neither. Don't fall for their fake feminism marketing.
See it if If you love theatre that is thoughtful and playful and ABOUT theatre, you'll enjoy what Everybody has to say.
