Thought-provoking, Great writing, Absorbing

See it if You are ready for an intense, dark two person play with amazing writing and heavy themes. The show is short and the drama is powerful.

Don't see it if You want a light, happy, fluffy show. This is a dark mystery drama and will make you think right up to the very last minute.

Quirky, Dizzying, Entertaining

See it if You are up for some crazy good staging, infectious music, and a quirky story. The critics didn’t like it but audiences love it!

Don't see it if You want to very traditional story and musical. This is a quirky fun offbeat story.

Great singing, Great staging, Overrated

See it if You like lavish spectacle without story, pop music and broad jokes, great sets and don't care about plot or continuity

Don't see it if You like a story that is intelligent, character development or want something deeper than glitz.

Overrated, Great singing, Banal

See it if A wafer-thin biography of a pop star appeals to you. Star gives AMAZING initiation of Tina Turner - superb performance; cookie cutter show.

Don't see it if You want to see anything more than a glorified pop concert or yet another in Broadway's endless parade of jukebox musical biographies.

Entertaining, Delightful, Clever

See it if You want a fast, smart, funny, creative show that’s wonderful for all ages. Definitely recommended for people who have a great imagination.

Don't see it if You were looking for a big Broadway production. This is small and imaginative rather than large and over the top.

Predictable, Overrated, Insipid, Great acting, Cliched

See it if Go see this show if you want to see the movie again. Or if you want to see a dynamic performance by the great Santino Fontana.

Don't see it if You prefer original, modern, thought provoking musicals. There’s nothing terribly wrong & nothing terribly interesting in this movie rehash

Great singing, Clever, Entertaining, Funny, Hilarious

See it if What a hilarious show! A clever concept, beautifully executed, fast and funny. “Omelette” got a standing ovation in the middle of Act One!

Don't see it if You prefer serious musicals or if you don’t like silly, fast, over the top comedy.

Absorbing, Enchanting, Exquisite, Relevant, Thought-provoking

See it if This brilliant revival updates a classic show without changing the work. It demonstrates what Shaw was really trying to say.

Don't see it if You are expecting only to see the Audrey Hepburn sanitized movie version.

Absorbing, Great writing, Great staging, Masterful, Must see

See it if This is a mesmerizing play. It evolve slowly, in real time, gradually revealing this serious issues at its core

Don't see it if This is a very long play. You need to be able to listen to highly accented English for well over three hours.

See it if The London production is as beautiful as the Broadway smash. Great cast, superb direction & of course, a powerful story. Highly recommend!

Don't see it if You want escapism or if 9/11 is a trigger for you.

Overrated, Great singing, Disappointing

See it if You don’t believe the professional critics who have savaged the show. It’s not as bad as the reviews have indicated

Don't see it if You want to see the story as dickens wrote it, or you expect to see LaChanze and Andrea Martin in prominent roles. They bothhave cameos.

Must see, Riveting, Thought-provoking

See it if This is such a beautiful, understated and powerful musical. The emotion is so real. See it if you want an emotional, uplifting experience.

Don't see it if You need glitzy costumes, jukebox tunes, or don’t want an emotional experience at the theater. If you just want Lightness, stay away!

Great singing, Edgy, Intense, Resonant, Intelligent

See it if You are open to the idea that what you expect from a Rogers and Hammerstein production is not what you’re going to get.

Don't see it if You want to see the Oklahoma your grandmother loved. This is something new and different and beautiful. But not for conservative taste.

Also Obviously this production is very controversial. Many people won’t lik... Read more Read less

Entertaining, Fluffy, Hilarious, Clever

See it if Jason Robert Brown has yet to have a real hit on BroadwayHD. This one should’ve been it. An old-fashioned musical, completely entertaini

Don't see it if You don’t like the feeling of an old-fashioned Broadway extravaganza. If you need more serious content, this would not be the right show.

Great singing, Banal, Great dancing, Confusing, Cliched

See it if Yet another ho-hum jukebox musical. It’s not terrible. It’s not great. It’s predictable and unremarkable.

Cliched, Banal, Disappointing, Dated, Fluffy

See it if You think the music of Cher is brilliant.

Don't see it if You’re expecting anything other than a costume musical that worships Cher. A vanity project gone amuck. Boring, dumb, repetitive drek.

Great singing, Entertaining, Delightful, Quirky, Refreshing

See it if “Kiss Me Kate” actually won the very first Tony award ever given for best musical. This revival is good, but not great.

Don't see it if Kelly O’Hara can do no wrong. The rest of the cast is not at her level. And the show is played jokier than normal
