See it if It is thought-provoking.
Don't see it if I found it very slow. The relationship portrayed in the show was very problematic, and I didn't think it was sufficiently examined.
See it if You want to see a traditional type of play about issues that aren't as often discussed
Don't see it if I didn't really enjoy this play, but I'm not sure why... I think maybe it was too traditional for me?
See it if The music is really the star of the show--Amazing!! The staging is also completely unique and riveting
Don't see it if Unfortunately Reeve Carney's Orpheus is such a lower caliber than the rest of the cast that it detracts from the show as a whole
See it if It's amazingly relevant and modern despite being almost 25 years old and taking place in 1985. It's one of my personal favorites.
Don't see it if It's long and gets weird. Don't see it if you're expecting a neatly packaged story
See it if It shows an important time in queer history, the cast is excellent
Don't see it if It's dated (not necessarily a bad thing) but hasn't been presented in a way that makes it relevant to what's going on today
See it if You missed In the Heights on Broadway the first time. The performances were all very good (especially the actor playing Usnavi)
Don't see it if It's not a professional production. The direction was questionable.
See it if You haven't seen Miss Saigon before.
Don't see it if You're looking for a new take on the classic. It felt like a reboot of the original, which hasn't aged well.
Also I saw the first preview, so I maybe didn't have the best experience
See it if You haven't seen this classic before.
Don't see it if you're expecting a Broadway or Off-Broadway caliber production. It's a good production, but definitely feels amateurish at times.
See it if It's enthralling and a completely new way of telling a story on stage
Don't see it if I think it is more of a story-telling experience than a play, which might turn some people off.
See it if Adam Driver carried this show on his back! What a performance!
Don't see it if The chemistry between Adam Driver's and Keri Russell's characters was simply not there, making the plot somewhat unbelievable
See it if You like NPR. Nerdy, thoughtful
Don't see it if You're only interested in a traditional play. This show is structured more like a stand up special, which totally works!
See it if Everyone should see Hello Dolly at least once in their life. It's a classic!
Don't see it if You're already familiar with the show. There's nothing new or different about this particular production.
See it if Great examination of stages of life for a woman. Very well-written and well-performed
Don't see it if Can feel kind of slow at times. There should have been an intermission
See it if a play about "growing up" through the eyes of some 50-year-olds sounds interesting
Don't see it if The first two thirds of the show were excruciatingly boring. I'm disappointed because I enjoy some of Sarah Ruhl's other work
See it if You want to see these excellent actors.
Don't see it if you really want to know the story the show is trying to portray. I was on wikipedia during intermission trying to piece the story together
See it if You can!
Don't see it if You'd prefer a more straight-forward plot-driven show. Scenes repeat, there are subtitles, and it can feel slow, but it's totally worth it!
See it if you're looking for a full theatrical experience with unique music and staging that includes the entire theater.
Don't see it if you prefer a traditional musical or don't want to follow a somewhat complex story line.
See it if You like history, musicals, or hip hop. You've listened to the cast album and loved it.
Don't see it if You "don't get rap" or you just want to see it because it's the thing to do.
