See it if enjoy a play with great characters, quite a bit of humor. Knowing Chekhov's work enhances the enjoyment of this play but not necessary.

Don't see it if do not like fast moving plots/story lines (1st act moves quickly, story comes together nicely in Act 2, somewhat predictable but sweet).
