See it if you enjoyed HERES LIKE LOVE or are a fan of Joan of Arc told in a way so that you don't get a lotta "spoonfeeding" of history. Or HAMILTON.

Don't see it if You like progressive rock shows but are intimidated by the subject manner. Or HATE when shows have anachronistic music (like HAMILTON).

See it if you want to see a new take on how to deal with a long term relationship with a good cast. Another show where you should stay for Act 2.

Don't see it if you can't deal with heaps of sexuality including polyamorous relationships (look it up).

See it if you want to see a moving and ORIGINAL musical to put your faith back in humankind during these troubled times. You'll kiss the cod (wink).

Don't see it if you can't deal with 9/11 (it's still hard for me) or want to see only a silly and happy musical. Or HAMILTON.

Also This has what I call the "Ivo Von Howe" Syndrome--do a play without scenery on a vast & empty stage (when it's supposed to be a tiny apartment), cut the intermission & cast a performer that one can't comment on without appearing to be insensitive. See it if you want to see an ensemble piece that appears to be theatre motivated but turns highly political.

Don't see it if you want a clear plot or some kind of message with no pretense. There's a lot of wasted talent on that stage/area.

See it if you want to see the immensely talented Janie Dee and a good cast. And have interest in women's issues.

Don't see it if you have no interest in women's issue or want to see a non-hackneyed version of an older woman needing to make choices.

See it if you are open to seeing a very adult show with dark themes that doesn't spoon feed.

Don't see it if you are bringing people under 21 and want just a "happy nonsense" show. Or a finished musical. Or HAMILTON.

Don't see it if you aren't prepared for a dated, topical show without sets or full orchestra. Or you want to see HAMILTON.

See it if you want to see some good acting overall & are prepared for a halting Mamet-esque style and writing. If you go, stay for Act II.
