See it if You like living room dramas spread with Sorkin-esque dialogue and humor. You enjoy watching characters talk themselves into their own graves
Don't see it if You’re not down to question some deeply-engrained assumptions about gender, privilege, sexuality, or will find a sitcom-like structure inane
See it if You’re looking for some powerful theatre that finds play in the most tragic places, pushes the form, and tells a story that is long overdue

See it if you enjoy the merging of fantasy and realism, appreciate a beautiful set, and can stand some meaningless plot lines & cliched dialogue

See it if you love fairy tales, the hero's journey, inventive staging and clever character work
Don't see it if young children in the audience will annoy you, or if you get frustrated with expressionistic snowflake dancing
See it if you're a super-fan of Spongebob, have a family with kids, or want to see a silly show.
Don't see it if you expect it to be as funny as the OG Spongebob cartoons, or you want something sharp and full of depth
See it if you like epic, grand-scale shows w/ ballads and song-speak. By the same people as Les Miserables--a good litmus test for if you'd like this
Don't see it if you don't like Les Mis or have problems with the politics of the Madame Butterfly effect... probably skip this one
See it if Truly a masterwork, this show is absolutely worth the hype. See it if you love musicals, epic storytelling, fun, and masterful characters.
