Don't see it if you aren't a fan of 'the classic musical'. If "The Golden Age" of musicals does not interest you, this will probably not hold your attention

See it if you want to watch a modern spin on an ancient tragedy with great moement and stellar acting.

Don't see it if you dislike modern shows. It is very much not a traditional show with few 'old' traditional theatre peeping through.

See it if you love down-to-earth discussions on life. You enjoy human characters and excellent acting. HIGHLY recommend this show!

Don't see it if you loathe politics and on-the-nose references. Or if you dislike shows that have multiple themes carrying on at once.

See it if you like irreverent humor and good music. The show is hilarious and with plenty of raunchy jokes. A must see if you love the soundtrack.

Don't see it if you are EASILY OFFENDED. The creators of South Park made it, so if you don't like their sense of humor you won't like this.

Don't see it if you don't like Andrew Lloyd Webber's music. If you don't like his other shows, this will probably do nothing for you.

Don't see it if you don't enjoy older shows. If you can't stand drawing room plays this probably won't change your mind.

See it if you're looking for a spectacle. The dancing is the best part of this show. A few songs get caught in your head forever too.

Don't see it if you want something actually entertaining. There's no plot, songs drag on, and it is so excruciatingly boring. It's horrible.

See it if you want a hilarious adult version of Sesame Street. Surprisingly good commentary on adult subjects.

Don't see it if It's 'inappropriate'. That shouldn't be surprising, but definitely not an all-family show. Probably best not to bring the kids.

Don't see it if Frankly, the story is kind of hard to follow at times and it can be forgettable. It's hard to fall in love with this show.

See it if you want to see a classic musical. Cole Porter's writing is fantastic, and it birthed some of the most popular songs ever written.

Don't see it if Some of the songs do get old quick, but they're witty and warm making you want to come back and listen to it again.

Don't see it if It has aged well, but it's still pretty dated at this point. Some people might not enjoy it, but it's still worth seeing.

See it if Taming of the Shrew, in most of its iterations, is my favorite Shakespeare piece and I highly recommend you go watch it.

Don't see it if Shakespearean language as a whole can be off-putting to people, but you should still try it out and this is one of the best shows to try it.

See it if This is another musical theatre must-see. If you enjoy musicals, it's almost necessary to see this one.

Don't see it if It feels longer, and it can get a mite confusing - but the clever writing and lyrics make it all better if you can overlook that.

Don't see it if If you don't understand Shakespeare. If you get confused or focused on the language used you should try it anyway though.

See it if you are into horror and intelligent, thoughtful plays. It is, hands down, one of the most thrilling shows I've ever seen on stage.

Don't see it if you are easily offended. It gets into some pretty deep topics, nudity, theological questions, and a horrific rape scene.

See it if you even remotely like Musical Theatre. It is absolutely fun and heart-wrenching at the same time, and it's like a gateway drug for stage.

Don't see it if Even if you don't like it, you get a chance to open your horizons with a pretty tame musical. It's worth going to see.
