See it if you like Alanis Morrisette’s music, and care and want to see a show about heavy themes likes drugs, sexual violence etc.

Don't see it if the storyline is a little all over the place, and the songs don’t exactly fit the story (well it’s a jukebox musical)

See it if you want to see a non accurate but still incredible portrayal of Hamilton and founding fathers, great songwriting and entertaining show

Don't see it if You don’t like rap, or musicals about American history

See it if Fun show, catchy soundtrack and has messages of body positivity and equality.

Don't see it if Storyline is a little unrealistic, and if you’re looking for a serious dramatic show this isn’t it

See it if beautiful tribute to 9/11. Each cast member plays multiple parts and represent different people in Gander. Definitely worth seeing

Also I saw it with Jen Colella, she isn’t nothing short of an amazing Beverly Bass. All the actors but so much heart into this topic, and they show the other side of 9/11 - the comraderie between these Canadians in Gander and the people just trying to call their family and make it back to New York. See it if great depiction of mental illness in theatre. good for teens, story of a boy who feels out of place in school/home and how you will be found

Don't see it if Songs aren’t great. Staging is ok. This musical is not that exciting, not bad either. A very so so performance.

See it if you want to see a musical that makes you laugh and cry, with incredible theatre actors, and this is just an all around amazing show.

Don't see it if always a must see but there are some words and themes in it that aren’t age appropriate for anyone under the age of ten.

Don't see it if it’s a pretty so so show, not much stands out about it. If you aren’t familiar with newsies beforehand you might not like it.

See it if good for kids. Of course not a great work of theatre, but it’s a very warm hearted musical.

Don't see it if I went to see the show for max von Essen. Definitely not something I could imagine him doing, the show was bland and not a demanding role

Also This is an example of a must see. There’s a reason why it won the tonys and nominated for a Grammy, this show is maybe the best show I’ve ever seen. Anais Mitchell’s lyrics are hauntingly beautiful, and fit perfectly with the storyline of this Greek tale. I love the cast, they all have great chemistry together. The choreography isn’t anything special , but everything else overshines that fact. Go see this show while the original cast is there, do a favor for yourself.... Read more Read less

See it if you’re looking for an entertaining show that you aren’t supposed to take seriously

Don't see it if the movie is pretty old, so the theme of the musical can be seen as transphobic. but if you can overlook that still a good show.

See it if really funny and entertaining show, nothing really stands out about it but it’s good if you are looking for something not serious

Don't see it if a little bit of a stupid show, don’t go if you don’t like musical comedy

See it if you want to see a great musical comedy. Borle is incredible and groff makes a great Seymour. Really fun and enjoyable show to see.

See it if good to see if you’ve seen past productions or listened to the cast album. It’s a great classic and an essential, just a little boring.

Don't see it if The show is a bit overrated and overdone. Unfortunately the Velma when I went wasn’t great, but the show itself is a little slow at times.

See it if You aren’t too harsh of a theatre critic and want to enjoy a very strange and unusual show, a great family musical.
