Don't see it if If you are homophobic you will either be woken up or greatly challenged by this play to see all people as worthy and beautiful

See it if You enjoy live music, stories from cultures and people not usually seen on stage, asian American comedy, songs, excellent electric violin

Don't see it if Are expecting traditional theater or stand up comedy

See it if You like a strong ensemble with character driven stories. its pretty surprising and has some good twists. All acting was great.

Don't see it if you don't like shows essentially about relationships or you like a really flashy production. This was more language driven

See it if you like provocative comedy about race / spoken word. They do comedy songs and stand up and it's pretty unusual. The violin was amazing!

Don't see it if you don't like dirty jokes or spoken word things. It's pretty out there (in a good way) A good late night show.

See it if You like soulful singing gospel meets musical meets blues. A terrific cast and a breakout star in the role of Celie

Don't see it if You are attached to the original production which had more linear direction this one is a bare bones set

See it if this is a "period" piece and feels very 70's /80s-- the kids are great each performing monologues and songs which were rad in the 70s

Don't see it if You want a new version or something contemporary
