for a previous production "I am genuinely worried about audiences who see 'The Play That Goes Wrong,' because it just might be the funniest show they'll ever see...The cast have perfected every bit of timing and dialogue this piece features...It's one of the very few shows I wouldn't mind seeing every night, from every single different seat, just to see everything that happens on stage...All in all, I couldn't recommend seeing this show any more." "The stakes never feel raised, the urgency never feels palpable and any improvements in text or pacing are so subtle that they're basically invisible. If anything, the helicopter serves as a reminder of Cameron Mackintosh's mantra of style over substance...The voices are exquisite...At its core, the show remains a piece with a few great songs but not much else...The feeling isn't that of how much we love the show, it's more of, why did we like it in the first place?” Full Review
