See it if you like true stories and want to learn things about famous artists' lives you might not have known, in a digestible way.

Don't see it if you need a show to jump out at you from the get go. There was a little warming up to do in the nature of the story, Act 2 picks up more.

See it if you like true stories, energetic story-telling, real people making real change.

Don't see it if you don’t like actors playing multiple characters and talking to the audience, or if you want something happy go-lucky musical

See it if you like family oriented stories and aren’t afraid of things getting very real and difficult.

Don't see it if you are very sensitive to the loss of a loved one (specifically parent/grandparent) or you don’t want to think about life and death

See it if you just want to see Sally Field or Joe Mantello perform but have no preconception of what they are performing.

Don't see it if you love this play and want to feel for the characters as Tennessee Williams intended.

Also The Glass Menagerie is my favorite play of all time and I could not wait to see it on Broadway. Then, I was utterly disappointed. The portrayal of the characters made me not care for them hardly at all. Some of Williams' text was either entirely disregarded or regarded with a meaning entirely opposite of what is intended. The acting, however great, did not really fulfill the play and the message that should be portrayed.
I am a person who usually enjoys experimental and/or unorthodox pieces of art and performance, but I cannot help but say that the dignity of this play was entirely lost in Gold's interpretation. If a performance/production is going to be unconventional, it should be in a way that highlights the essence of the play and adds depth. See it if You love Latin rhythms and dancing and appreciate truly stylistic performances.

Don't see it if You expect only light hearted Gloria Estefan music entertainment. It is a very deep and captivating story of her and Emilio's life.

Also Every performer in this show is absolutely stunning. Ana Villafane portrays Gloria Estefan in such a perfect way. However, Eliseo Roman stole the show for me. His voice is the most brilliant and pure sound I have ever heard. See it if You are interested in new ways of telling a story on stage and you want to be totally absorbed by an environment is sounds and voices

Don't see it if you like traditional plays or can't handle having a lot of things going on at once - specifically sounds in the headphones.

See it if you love amazing child actors. you want to see a classic musical comedy type with a modern spin on staging and music.

Don't see it if you don't like witty jokes. don't want to be jealous of an eleven year old

See it if you love to watch beautiful and talented children shine so bright! If you like powerful choreography and stage craft.

See it if you need to laugh!! Every line is perfectly crafted and delivered. Every character fights for themselves and makes you care so much!

Don't see it if You don't know theatre. The show is full full full of references and if you don't get them the show will just not mean the same.

See it if you're ready to take a ride of laughter, love and hilarious murder!
