See it if You want to see great acting & singing with a deep message about love. Kenita Miller immediately draws you into the story. Cast is great!

Don't see it if You want to see traditional theater or you don’t like folk stories.

See it if You want to see a classic Broadway musical with occasional guest performances.

Don't see it if I can't think of a reason not to see it. It's Broadway 🙂

See it if You like 90s music or are a fan of the movie. (Be warned there are 2 scenes with some brief nudity.)

Don't see it if You don't like stories about sex and teens. Or if you're expecting a real theater set.

Also I liked the second half of the show better than the first half. The Celtic violinist, Máiréad Nesbitt is amazing. The female singers out performed the male singers. The musicians were great but the show did have some sound issues during the performances. This show is an ambitious attempt to blend rock and classical music together. Also Everyone in the ensemble is great. Ethan Slater did a wonderful job as Spongebob. The young actress, who played Pearl Krabs, Jai'len Christine Li Josey - her voice is amazing. It's hard to believe she's only 18 and this is her Broadway debut! Also, if you're looking to buy seats, I do not recommend the balcony seats because the stage is so spread out that you won't enjoy it from up there. See it if You like magic shows. The best acts for me are the clairvoyants & the dare devil. Some acts are a little slow & boring. Overall still fun.

Don't see it if You hate magicians.

See it if You like Salsa music and are interested in supporting Latinos in the arts. The script is not deep but it was entertaining and funny.

Don't see it if You don't like musicals. This show is in Spanish & English, some may have a hard time understanding Spanish & following the subtitles.

Don't see it if You don't want to learn about latin history, don't like John Leguizamo or are expecting a comedy show. This is funny but not like that.
