See it if you've ever enjoyed old broadway musicals...but want to see them set to a current situation.
Don't see it if you are closed minded about gender fluidity...but you should see it anyway and perhaps open your mind/heart
See it if you like a 'period' piece based ...at least vaguely in true historical fact.
Don't see it if you don't appreciate or believe in the healing power of music....and if you don't love the Louis XIV period history.
See it if you need re-inforcement that the system is broken when it comes to caring for people suffering with varied mental illness.
Don't see it if you are looking for an uplifting 'it'll be ok because people care' closure at the end of the play.
See it if you've read the book. If you haven't I would think it's difficult to fill in the 'blanks'. It's an ambitious to try to stage this classic.
Don't see it if Dystopean scenarios are not your idea of entertainment.
See it if you just need an evening to laugh. Have a cocktail or two and enjoy.
Don't see it if you do not enjoy Benny Hill/Monty Python-esque British comedy. If you just can't get into silly. Lighten up, have a drink and laugh.

Don't see it if you are expecting huge broadway style musical #s. It's more subdued. Yet effective.
See it if you are a long time fan of musicals and have a working knowledge of Shakespeare.It's very clever and somewhat sneaky sometimes in it's humor
Don't see it if you weren't a fan of Monty Python-esque pace and humor.
See it if you are in the mood 'for something completely different'.
Don't see it if you are expecting the usual Broadway musical. It's trippy. I enjoyed it...my then (in the last production) 10 year old...not so much.
See it if you only can get to one show during your visit. Surprisingly you might need to bring tissues. Set, music, message...all outstanding!

Don't see it if you want character development or a catchy tune to sing on the way out of the theater. Seats in the Mezz are excruciatingly uncomfortable.
See it if you are a big fan of set design. It was a beautiful production. I just hated the singing of the dialogue/book. left disappointed.

See it if You want to leave the theater singing and uplifted. At the end of our performance the audience sang and danced their way out of the theater

See it if you are a literary MAVEN. And versed particularly in Joyce. It will likely delight you the way Shakespeare'people' enjoyed Rotten Tomatoes
Don't see it if you don't have any idea of James Joyce's work . It will be just words at rapid fire pace without meaning to you
See it if you just love Carole King music and appreciate the 'back story' to the music factory days.

See it if you are convinced that Hillary should have won the election and was robbed.

See it if you could you use a 'happy' evening out. "a little dance, a little song...a little giggle to go along". Quick moving and COLORFUL.
