See it if you like versatile role acting by one person and a true life history that doesn't fit a stereotype of the time.

Don't see it if Most people's lives were not tied up in background headline events. I was studying for SAT'S and AP's in 1971-72 & not at demonstrations

See it if You like sitcoms in Manhattan penthouses

Don't see it if You don't like a fake southern accent to make a former Rabbi seem less stereotypical. Don't like a convoluted gotcha ending

See it if you like plays of recent historic events, if you want to feel how it is to be pressured to take sides in an endless and violent conflict.

Don't see it if you don't like events being foreshadowed in an excruciatingly obvious way , or that favored characters may come to harm.

Also Mary, the wife of the main character is wooden.

See it if If you like shows that examines the nitty gritty of living under a fascist dictatorship. or to see the worst and best come out under tyranny

Don't see it if IF you don't like heavy handed comparisons to today's political situation. If you don't like telegraphing of future parts of the plot.

See it if you like an excellent singer on a guitar(if Shelly performs), you like to hear some profound views by the audience and diverse views.

Don't see it if because it isn't mentioned in a discussion of adultery that the uninvolved spouse of an adulterous couple is unknowlingly exposed to STD's

See it if you like intelligent dialogue , if you like seeing religious hypocrisy exposed, if you like a defense of free speech.

Don't see it if you feel you can compromise in art as in other endeavors in life ( you can of course), if you don't feel that doing art is inherently good

See it if you like Israeli history,if you like pivotal lesser known characters in Israeli history, if you like being transported in time to a kibbutz.

Don't see it if you like plays that spoon feed you, if you are uninterested in the Israeli politics of the 1930's and 1940's.

See it if you like actors that give their whole energy all the time to make a continual moving and exciting show and if you like a complex depiction..

Don't see it if if you don't like a play that occasionally acts like you wouldn't get it unless they are extremely obvious about some forms of prejudice.

See it if You like good dialogue.,You like to see the excellent acting of Colleen Clinton as the main character Jess,.You like food double dipping.

Don't see it if You don't like a character (Annie) that looks older than her role in the play. You don't like a character (Tony) that is not believable.

See it if you want to understand Ted's father Ace who was a complicated, intriguing and basically good person.

Don't see it if you don't like to see someone who wants an evening of scores with his classmates who have succeeded in conventional ways.

See it if you like a correct historical version of Masada.See it if you want insight in the range of current political sentiments in Israel.

Don't see it if you dislike when a playwright presents negative stereotypes of female Jewish teenagers, implying incorrrectly that most are promiscuous.

See it if You like to see disorganized doctors who make it up by being warm and effective. Like the self denying ambiguous type character.

Don't see it if You don't like hackneyed down on her luck sister stories or misunderstood mentally ill patient stories

See it if You like a regional twist on a familiar location. The genuine love hate relationship between immigrant parent and first generation child.

Don't see it if A predictable plot in the guise of surprising twists.

See it if You like seeing a show about a topic that is all around us, but that people are reluctant to broach and write about. Good and simple set.

Don't see it if references to "timely' events in Greenwich Village to make the scenes seem real. some outsourcing of care and complaining like you do it all

See it if You like learning about snooker which I only knew about from English novels-if you like quirky characters adn elements of farce

Don't see it if you don't like unpredictable predictable endings.- if you don't like plays that finish with the denouement of a sporting match.

See it if you likeplays that puts it together somewhat at the end and makes you thinkof whats meaningful in a relationship. Nice inclusion of disabled

Don't see it if you don't like a too obvious comparison of GW Bush times to Trump times.. Totally cliched portrayal of how to have a political impact.

Also These peoples cliched views and trite roles just leave you uninterested. Very little chemistry. between the actors. The fourth wall is an interesting concept so I appreciate the hard work of the actors on the concept- but at the least you could interact with the audience (spoiler alert) when you break through the walls. When the play started the Mets were leading the Brewers 4-1 and when it was over the Mets were losing 8-6 in the ninth inning- pretty much matched the action in the play... Read more Read less

See it if if you like classic hit song after classic hit song fitting in always with the context- beautiful staging and period perfect scenery

Don't see it if you just saw Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn in the movie. Henry Higgins and Eliza here don't have the rapport and smoothnessof the above.

Also Lauren Ambose's hair looked like doll hair to me and distracted me from the play/ I felt that Norbert Leo Butz's character was too obviously trying to make a statement by kissing the men in drag on the lips, so while it's fine that he did it-it took away from the spontaneity and continuity of the dance for Get Me to the Church on Time.... Read more Read less

Don't see it if if you dislike a predictable contrived story that gives no depth to the characters described, and leaves one with no empathy for characters

See it if you like a good mother -daughter relationship . if you like an excellent performance by Alexa Niziak.

Don't see it if you don't like an unlikely and a somewhat contrived plot.

See it if you like great music, superb singing and spot on acting that make a basic plot of the commonality of mideastern Arabs and Jews memorable

Don't see it if a minor contrived subplot would annoy you.

See it if if you had a daughter that played on a sports team in H.S.l or college. you like H.S. girls shown as knowledgeable about current events

Don't see it if you don't like descriptions of off the stage romances that are formulaic. If you like the underlying sports standings and w-l to be clear.

See it if you like to take your young child or grandchild to a show that will absorb them and which they will understand.

Don't see it if you don't like some characters that are one dimensional.

Don't see it if you don't want to see a 78 year old c with poor hair grooming for 2 hrs.or hear about 78-25 yr old sex or insipid 25 yr old guys story.

See it if If you like 1950's period pieces in Texas superbly put on. If you like simple shows pull that nevertheless pull on your heartstrings

Don't see it if If you have no patience for some hackneyed one note characters.If you want your plot tied up at the end in one neat bow.
