See it if Extremely well acted, complex, moving play. We remained engaged throughout and had plenty to discuss after the play.
Don't see it if you're looking for a musical.
See it if Best when doesn't take itself too seriously (1st act), singing and dancing are good.
Don't see it if Don't want to be lectured (2nd act). Subject matter better handled in Mothers & Sons, and in Significant Other.
See it if It's a fun show but not a great show. The show knows it and just tries to make sure you have a good time and is not aiming for more.
Don't see it if The show is knowingly cliche. Not much there, there. Voices and music are good but the dancing is just OK.
See it if Staging is great and they do a great job creating a full theater experience. You get discounted tickets.
Don't see it if You want to care about any of the characters. You want great singing or dancing (the play mostly wastes a talented cast).
See it if you want to hear Mideast music. Voices are good. Think it's refreshing to hear Hebrew and Arabic
Don't see it if Like developed characters or an absorbing plot. Like dancing in a musical if the plot is nothing special.
See it if Good 1st act, weaker 2nd act. Entertaining, good dancing and voices. Best when it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Don't see it if Don't want to be lectured (2nd act). Subject matter handled better in Mothers & Sons, and Significant Other.
See it if If you like clever staging and really good special effects. Only see it if you've read all the books.
Don't see it if The play itself and the acting is just so-so.
See it if you like farce that is not well done. Staging was good. Star was good.
Don't see it if If you don't like amateurish productions with humor that is obvious and not particularly funny.
