See it if You like klezmer. This is a musical with a bit of story. I warmed to the characters and story. But it took time. Not much structure.
Don't see it if You like big production values, or the Eastern European immigrant story doesn't speak to you. The piece has a community theater feel.

Don't see it if You want a story, and you want to sit down. There is much standing and watching, and for what it is, it is very long. It could be trimmed.
See it if You have done memories of this show. This seemed more like a reading, with minimal dancing, and singers singing at music stands.
Don't see it if It told the story of a particular girl, and did not seem universal. The characters and book were thin. The music and singing were good.
See it if You want a fresh take on Shakespeare. Setting Julius Caesar in a girl's school made for some beautiful moments. Cassius was excellent.
Don't see it if You want your Shakespeare in traditional dress and settings. There were no battle scenes.
See it if You want to laugh. Michael Urie performs with inspired silliness. The costumes and set are great. The physical comedy is wonderful.
Don't see it if There isn't a good reason not to see this show. You would need to be a real sourpuss not to get swept up in this comedy.
See it if You loved Bedlam's Sense and Sensibility. This has much of the same charm, although the source material is not as good.
Don't see it if You don't like to see costume dramas performed with a winking knowingness. There is a lot to take you out of the story.
See it if you love shows about sexual hang ups. If so, you may find it engrossing. It is well acted, but the writing is clunky and distracting.
Don't see it if You value a clear sense of time or believability. The play doesn't really hold together, but it has some memorable moments.

See it if Dramas about demented, controlling parents mean a lot to you.

See it if You like "topical" plays. This show about how the elders messed it up is for you if you are young, and want the old people out of the way.
Don't see it if You liked fast paced shows. This plays like a 30 year old's notion of what 60 year olds are really like. It feels false because of that.
See it if You are open to new ideas about Peter Pan. This is an interesting experiment in exploring a text, but it is not fully realized.
Don't see it if You are not familiar with the text/story of Peter Pan. Or if you are expecting a traditional presentation of the story. It may be confusing.
See it if You like magic shows mixed with storytelling. There is more storytelling than magic in this show, so true magic geeks may be disappointed.

See it if period drama and name actors are your thing. Danny Devito is funny. The second act is more absorbing than the first.
Don't see it if You don't like period drama. The opening was slow. The first act was too long, and the second act started strong, and then got melodramatic
