See it if you care about diverse representation onstage and seeing queer love stories, and if you enjoy excellent acting by ensemble casts
Don't see it if you're not interested in Shakespeare or seeing the classics redone to be more relevant to today's world
See it if you like interesting and unique experiences, 70s culture, interactive experiences with actors, things that are a little unnerving but fun
Don't see it if you don't like immersive theater, you don't want to be separated from who you came with or to be alone in a room with an actor
See it if you're interested in a new and unique approach to theatre in a very immersive, intimate space, and good character studies
Don't see it if you like all your questions to be answered at the end of a show, you want to be profoundly moved, you're offended by nudity ;)
See it if you love talented kids and you loved the original movie. Also Alex Brightman is fantastic and so high-energy.
Don't see it if you're not a fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber and his incredibly repetitive score for this show.
See it if does this even need an explanation anymore? the most important work in recent years. absolutely fantastic.
Don't see it if ....why would you not want to see Hamilton? I guess if you're a stickler for historical accuracy, maybe skip but why would you skip this
See it if you love fantastical strange and beautiful queer stories that break genres, forms, and conventions
Don't see it if you don't like anything non-traditional, non-linear, and somewhat intentionally confusing
See it if you like creativity, raw inspired energy, talented teenagers, inventive catchy songs
Don't see it if you need a traditional musical with a typical plot and polished staging
See it if you like to just have a fun time and not really think too much about the entertainment, overall a really just fun show
Don't see it if you don't like trans people/drag queens
See it if you like interesting theatre that relies fairly heavily on technological effects and clever staging (as stunning as they may be)
Don't see it if you're a stickler for the original book (it changes several things) or if you're uncomfortable with the way they portray autism
See it if If you love fantastic theatre, if you love intelligent work, if you're queer, if you're not, if you have a family...EVERYONE should see.
