See it if you want to see a show about a complicated subject and complicated people. Every single character has flaws and it makes them real.

Don't see it if you want a show that doesn't require thought.

See it if you're into a relatively straight-forward historical musical.

Don't see it if you want to see something truly polished. This show needs some cuts.

See it if you want to see the Scottish Play but haven't before.

Don't see it if you have a love for this play.

Also If you told me this was a high school production, I'd believe you. They clearly think they're doing something interesting, but they're not. There's nothing new or exciting about the way they did this. When did they set it? What was the point of gender bending the casting? I considered leaving at intermission. See it if you are down to see a performance art piece that tackles some hard issue.

Don't see it if you want a straightforward show.

See it if you're interested in the actors or subject matter.

Don't see it if you have a problem with male full-frontal nudity.

See it if you want to see Billy Crystal or have a Jewish family.

Don't see it if you won't get Jewish humor, you want really great singing, you want something that feels new.

See it if you want to see a dance show. The lead is phenomenal and gets Michael Jackson's voice and body to a T.

Don't see it if you want to have any info/conversation about the problematic aspects of Michael Jackson. That is not this show.

See it if you want to see a masterfully done Company.

Don't see it if you have an issue with non-linear stories or unreliable narrators.

See it if you want to see a good production of Assassins. Is it perfect? No. But it feels incredibly important to understand history right now.

Don't see it if you are not a fan of non-linear storytelling.

See it if you know the movie well and are ok with it being picked apart.

Don't see it if you want a good audience, since the actors are so famous, there are a lot of people there only for that.

See it if you are interested in race and relationships and the issues between mixed-race couples.

See it if you want to see a midlife crisis on stage.

Don't see it if you are uncomfortable with nudity.

See it if you want to see an intense play with dark themes.

Don't see it if death, cancer, etc. is a problem for you.

See it if you want to see a non-linear, confusing (on purpose) show about dementia.

Don't see it if Aging or memory loss is a trigger for you.

See it if you are a fan of improv, comedy, and can handle audience participation.

Don't see it if you are only interested in seeing Lin-Manuel Miranda. He is not there.

See it if you want to see a staged version of the Disney movie (for the most part). It is a staged "Disney on Ice" essentially.

Don't see it if you are looking for more than an extravaganza.

See it if you are really into Catholicism either as a religion or a scholar.

Don't see it if you don't have background knowledge of Hildegard or want something cohesive.

Also For an 80 minute show, I feel like I saw 2 distinct pieces. I was personally more interested in the first part about a damaged person finding herself. Also I was pleasantly surprised by this show, as it was better than I anticipated. It is more like Lion King or Beauty and the Beast than the newer Disney shows like Aladdin, meaning it actually works and they treated it like a stage show and not a movie. It was only glittery where it should be and, as someone who accuses Disney of just throwing glitter on things these days, that made me happy. Don't see it if you are looking for great writing or staging. While I liked the cast, there is only so much to work with.

See it if you must. I mean, I love Santino, but he didn't make this a good show.

Don't see it if you live in the world in 2019. Whoever thought a story about how hard it is to be a straight, white man is needs to check themselves.

Also Over and over, I was told that they address the issues from the movie. But I disagree. They acknowledge that there are issues, yes, but they never go in and fix them. See it if So I love the book. And it sticks to the basics well. I didn't feel like they cheated me out of the story.

Don't see it if I think some of the songs need some work. Also, while this was not my personal issue, apparently lots of dripping honey can trigger a gag.

See it if you want to see two actors at the top of their game doing their thing really well.

Don't see it if plays that in 2019 haven't aged as well as we might hope is not your thing.

See it if you want to see the show that is absolutely going to win best musical at this year's Tony Awards.

See it if you want to see one of the coolest sets this season used in the best way to tell a story about horrible people.

Don't see it if you don't like long shows where everyone has an accent.

See it if you enjoy a lot of dance. The dancing is quite good.

Don't see it if you have a problem with Taming of the Shrew.
