See it if you like scooby doo and want to see a decent parody. Unique in how they handle adult scooby characters
Don't see it if you don't like scooby doo or have never seen it. Completely relies on Scooby lore to understand
See it if you are an English major, like musings on hell and literature, and like Scottish things
Don't see it if you like immersive theater. This is not immersive, it's a lie. It's just a show done around you rather than on stage
See it if you want to be involved in a good conversation in a bar without loud music in the background, or like to watch others have interesting ones.
Don't see it if you don't want to have a conversation or will get bored of others having a conversation, which could be about anything.
See it if you like comedy, tragedy, noir, swing era 40s stuff, cartoons, puns.
Don't see it if you think nursery rhymes and cartoonish things played straight for laughs isn't for you
Also Solid show, great writing. Should be about 20 minutes shorter, though.
See it if you like catchy a capella performed by what seems to be a high school troupe, but slightly better
Don't see it if you're looking for a fully formed story or something exciting
See it if you like drag queens and cliche "let's save the family biz" stories. pop music, fun choreography, british things, positive & fun vibes
Don't see it if uncomfortable with drag/gender bending, want something more intellectual or challenging
See it if you love the soundtrack, want to hear genius poetry, don't mind history presented as a concept album
Don't see it if aside the phenom music there's not much else there. Sparse set, too many dancers, unfocused, not super interesting. It's straight up poetry
See it if you like asian american issues mix w/comedy. Good vibe, great standup act/sketch. Genuinely funny lady.
Don't see it if you are tired of as-am issues w/comedy. Trust me, as asian I've seen so much it can get overdone even for me. No groundbreaking moments here
See it if you like bad acting. Great writing/ideas, terribly done. Only 1 good actress. Difficult to watch. Maybe see if you like scantily clad girls.
Don't see it if you expect real swing dancing or you don't like cursing (it's overdone for no good reason). Seriously, the dancing is bad.
See it if you like harry potter, especially hufflepuff. Better than HP the musical by far. Best hp parody ever on stage or youtube, ever. Seriously
Don't see it if you have not read harry potter. Spoilers. Don't see if you think you'll see hufflepuff-bashing, none of that here.
See it if you like asian drama. Female playing male roles, interesting idea. Entertaining enough but not as entertaining as I wanted. Great costume
Don't see it if you don't like subtitles (though imo not a problem). Bit slow, bit long. could fall asleep in hot theater
See it if You know Spanish. Much of the humor is delivery, which is lost in translation. You like a strange psychological humor situation/just talking
Don't see it if you don't want to read subtitles or want to see action. It's just 2 people having a conversation for 1.5 hrs.
See it if you like fast, physical comedy. laugh literally every 5 seconds, no exaggeration
Don't see it if so funny it can get tiring. I literally ran out of laughter even though it was hilarious because i was exhausted
See it if you're interested in unusual techniques with animation, shadow, puppets. You've literally never seen anything like this before I guarantee
Don't see it if you lack imagination or wonder. You like dialogue (there's none)
See it if you like parodies, anachronistic silly comedy, and are well versed in musical theater. Kind of like the Producers but in olden times
Don't see it if you're looking for something serious or too intellectual or looking for laff a minute comedy. It's funny but not hilarious
See it if you want to watch a rock n roll show interspersed with dancing and big fractals on screens, and you feel like walking out of a show early
Don't see it if you want to be entertained in the slightest or you expect actual EDM music to be played. Spoiler alert, there isn't any
See it if you like quickfire comedy & puppets, funny accents, cartoonish stories. Original, fun, energetic. 10x better than Ave Q and not crass.
Don't see it if you don't want to see the above
See it if you like marx bros. AMAZING impersonations. Would give a 95 rating to Fringe version. New version lost a whole 20 points with me
Don't see it if you don't like marx bros. Honestly this production was not as good as the Fringe version, which had me in stitches. Not nearly as funny
See it if you like mimes. Women animate well, classic-style. Not sexualized, not "updated" just pure classic stuff. Kids would like, too
Don't see it if you don't like silent physical comedy. Also, can get too surreal/confusing at times. Mostly makes sense.
See it if you're interested in asian american issues, if you want to see asian americans do great things. History buff
Don't see it if you are racist or think america never did anything wrong to people of color
See it if you like horror hosts, nostalgia, quick pace, puppets, puns, and tongue twisters. Not a FringeJr. show but still ok for kids 10ish+
Don't see it if you're looking for something serious or actually scary
See it if you like catchy music and want to smirk at silly gun nuts. Though, needs to push the absurd/crazy line even more. Fran is a standout actress
Don't see it if you are expecting some really profound or clever take on the gun debate. It's not there. It's just a mildly entertaining show.
