Don't see it if You're looking for a fresh take on a dated classic. I mean, is it a classic? Because its a two-hander that has been done so often?
See it if It is very rare to see a show written by a Shakespearean contemporary that is this easy to understand. Kudos to the director/dramaturg
Don't see it if It is a very collegiate production. Most of the actors are stiff and not really making any interesting choices.
See it if You want to see a charming storyteller
Don't see it if This is basically a podcast come to life. One person shows are hard to pull off but he is entertaining!
See it if You like Beckettian drama and understand how theatrical devices work because he flips them over and turns them upside down!
Don't see it if You dont like one man shows where existentialism is the name of the game. It is also only one hour long (for $35)
See it if You have a beating heart. No one could hate this show. A simple story with exquisite acting. I do not think I could quantify its brill
Don't see it if No reason not to see it. I was nervous because it is SOO popular (and popular to me usually translates to bad- see HAMILTON & BOOK OF MORMO
See it if You want to see the future of playwriting. Rajiv Joseph knows how to weave a tale. Wonderful.
Don't see it if You can’t follow historical plots, intermingled with family drama
See it if You’re a fan of any of the actors. Because there was some great talent. And many of them are known (McGovern, Anna Baryshnikov, etc)
Don't see it if You have to pay more than say, $10
See it if You wonder what could be more boring than say, a play about dentistry. Or if you’re a finance junkie.
Don't see it if If you’ve seen Wolf of Wall Street or Wall Street, you’ve seen this play. But those movies were (of course) vastly superior.
See it if You love characters that aren't always depicted onstage (yay! Diversity!).
Don't see it if You don't like writers like Annie Baker. This writer is Baker-light (not as good). It's slow and has almost no purpose. And moves nowhere.

Don't see it if You get hung up on traditional staging.
See it if You haven't heard we're living in the time of 1984. Lol
Don't see it if You need to connect with characters. I didn't really care about anyone on stage. And ummm...I probably should have.
See it if I'm not a fan of farce, so maybe not the show for me. But it was so overblown and ridiculous, I left @ the interval. Soooo disappointing.
Don't see it if You have taste
See it if You like a well-written story with great acting. It is a pretty familiar story, but done in an absorbing way.
Don't see it if You dont like gay themed shows. This show breaks no new ground, but its very well done!
See it if You want to see an amazing story done by a downtown type of storyteller, Cale makes the 85 minutes just fly by.
Don't see it if You dont like one-person shows or need a legitimate Broadway type of show.
See it if You like real-world relationships and the complications that arise. The playwright/actor of the piece is so incredibly talented. Go!

See it if You do not need a straight narrative. And you want to see Guare work out his angst that everyone only knows him for "Six Degrees..."
Don't see it if See above...
See it if You like O’Casey. The Irish Rep tries so hard to revive Irish classics.
Don't see it if You’re hoping to see a well-acted production and are expecting the amazing kind of Friel script!
See it if Ummmm....if you like all the actors (because I do!) but the script is so boring and goes absolutely nowhere. And I LOVE Lonergan. Sad
Don't see it if Do not trust the critics on this one!! Overrated, boring and banal
See it if You love O'Neill classics. And Denzel is one of the greatest stage actors alive! Although the play itself is dated and really long, its 100
Don't see it if You dont like classic O'Neill. It is dated. And the staging is moldy
See it if You love Dennis Kelly (who is more known in the U.K. than here). He is a lot like Lonergan, mixing the grotesque with the funny.
Don't see it if It is a one-woman show. Mulligan is a good actor, but I dont think she can carry a one-woman. The piece is great -she's not at transitions
See it if You want to see what happens when great writing, great direction and great acting come together.
Don't see it if You don’t like full frontal nudity. You don’t like the 4th wall broken.

See it if You like Stoppard schooling you on exciting topics like math and gardens. 🙄
Don't see it if Just don't see it. Save your time. Save your money.
See it if You're a fan of Sam Gold. He is innovative (sometimes to a fault) but I love his work. We all know Glass Menagerie. And he plays into that.
Don't see it if You like your Williams classicly staged
