See it if You want to see a writer/director attempt high-brow art, but fall very short of it. See it if its free. The leads are wonderful!

Great acting, Exquisite, Absorbing

See it if You want to know what excellence looks like on the stage. Its funny, absorbing, PERFECTLY written.

Don't see it if You do not like gay themes. You think Angels in America is the only gay-themed play that matters. Bc it IS NOT

Dated, Disappointing, Indulgent

See it if You never saw Falco and Tucci a few years back in these roles. They made stronger choices and had real chemistry.

Don't see it if You're looking for a fresh take on a dated classic. I mean, is it a classic? Because its a two-hander that has been done so often?

Also I saw the movie and the production with Falco and Tucci - both showed ... Read more Read less

Great acting, Entertaining

See it if You don’t need a heady play. It’s pretty much one of his lighter works but Adam Driver is magnificent. He IS the show.

Don't see it if You prefer a more heavy, thought -provoking play.

See it if It is very rare to see a show written by a Shakespearean contemporary that is this easy to understand. Kudos to the director/dramaturg

Don't see it if It is a very collegiate production. Most of the actors are stiff and not really making any interesting choices.

Don't see it if You want a straight and narrow sort-of story and execution

Absorbing, Delightful, Entertaining, Funny, Cliched

See it if You want to see a charming storyteller

Don't see it if This is basically a podcast come to life. One person shows are hard to pull off but he is entertaining!

See it if You like Beckettian drama and understand how theatrical devices work because he flips them over and turns them upside down!

Don't see it if You dont like one man shows where existentialism is the name of the game. It is also only one hour long (for $35)

Also I am actually not a fan of Beckett but this show takes his silly, seem... Read more Read less

Delightful, Slow, Banal

Excruciating, Cliched

See it if You wonder what could be more boring than say, a play about dentistry. Or if you’re a finance junkie.

Don't see it if If you’ve seen Wolf of Wall Street or Wall Street, you’ve seen this play. But those movies were (of course) vastly superior.

Also There was absolutely nothing new explored in this play. Same old clich... Read more Read less

Great acting, Quirky, Slow

See it if You love characters that aren't always depicted onstage (yay! Diversity!).

Don't see it if You don't like writers like Annie Baker. This writer is Baker-light (not as good). It's slow and has almost no purpose. And moves nowhere.

Clever, Entertaining, Ambitious, Intelligent, Profound

See it if You love Ibsen and want to see how his work has influenced and changed our ideas about love, marriage & women.

Don't see it if You get hung up on traditional staging.

Midtown W
Relevant, Intense, Ambitious

See it if You haven't heard we're living in the time of 1984. Lol

Don't see it if You think theatre should be more than just a cry fest. Lol

For a previous production
Disappointing, Cliched, Banal

See it if I'm not a fan of farce, so maybe not the show for me. But it was so overblown and ridiculous, I left @ the interval. Soooo disappointing.

Don't see it if You have taste

Don't see it if You dont like gay themed shows. This show breaks no new ground, but its very well done!

Absorbing, Exquisite, Well written

See it if You love Dennis Kelly (who is more known in the U.K. than here). He is a lot like Lonergan, mixing the grotesque with the funny.
