Jacob Rivera-Sanchez is a DFW-based actor, graphic designer and aspiring director. He is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre.
He is currently a freelance graphic designer and is the Theatre Business Manager of Texas Wesleyan University's theatre department.
He made his mainstage directorial debut with Theatre Wesleyan's production of Fuddy Meers by David Lindsay-Abaire in fall 2014, after completing a student-directed project, How Many To Tango? by Sandra J. Albert in fall 2013.
In 2014, he was named NewYork.com's Ultimate Broadway Fan and received an all-expense paid trip to the 2014 Tony Awards rehearsal in New York City, hosted by Hugh Jackman.
In 2015, upon release of the Into The Woods film, Disney selected Jacob as the winner of the "No One Is Alone" Fan Art Contest and received another all-expense paid trip to New York City, which was redeemed in March 2016.
He was also named Telecharge.com's Broadway Booster of the Month (April) and received free tickets and a backstage tour of On The Twentieth Century starring Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS also selected Jacob for their Broadway Fan contest where his photo appeared over Times Square during the annual Broadway Flea Market in September 2015.
