"‘The story focuses on the fraught marriage of Pablo, a college professor, and his high school math teacher wife. The complex and bitter relationship the two share is an interesting spectacle to watch as it unfolds…The onstage chemistry between the two is magic…This play is more nuanced than a simple focus on racial tensions. Covering topics such as interracial relationships and privilege amongst minorities themselves, the outcome is a thoughtful and fresh production." Full Review

“From the set props to the actors’ costumes, not forgetting to mention the gory and incredible moment of SFX makeup, ‘Paradiso’ is an aesthetic triumph. On the other hand, the puzzles and riddles that the experience is comprised of are mixed in quality...Ultimately, the experience of ‘Paradiso’ hinges on the group dynamic...With a group that doesn’t quite click, there is the possibility of leaving without a smile. Although it needs some fine-tuning, it is still a decent evening’s entertainment.” Full Review

“Gustavo Pace enlightens the audience with the stellar ‘Naked Brazilian,’ performed in both English and Portuguese, giving us a glimpse into attitudes towards topics such as masculinity, sexuality, and family in Brazilian culture, in a physical and darkly comic performance...As both writer and performer Pace is clearly a talent to look out for in the future.” Full Review

"One woman’s fateful journey through faith that will make even the most undevout sit up, listen and most of all howl with laughter...There were moments in which I probably would have benefited from having a better understanding of some of the religious references, however overall this didn’t take away the enjoyment in what was an engaging evening...'Bible Study' is a challenging and vital piece of contemporary theater...It hits the mark with both relevance and humor."
