See it if i shouldn’t be laughing so hard while something so morbid is happening in the background. excellent cast, love martin mcdonagh’s writing
Don't see it if you don’t like morbid humor/dark comedy or you have a hard time understanding thick accents.
See it if a stripped-down version of the classic tale told more through the narration and dialogue than through action.
Don't see it if you want a full production or get easily bored with two actors on a stage w/minimal set. great acting but not engaging enough for me overall
See it if entertaining show that isn’t going to change your life but is fun enough
Don't see it if not really a musical. the songs/snippets are fine but lyrics kind of cliche and forgettable.
See it if a delightful musical with a mix of 80s pop songs and original songs. gets you invested into even the more minor characters
Don't see it if there are storylines that seem to build up but then go nowhere. less interested in the romantic plot than the family, band & school dynamics
See it if a quiet, minimalist piece based on a short story about mental health. actors do well with the material they have in the setting
Don't see it if we didn’t get the video so not sure what that adds to it & if i can score properly. would have liked to see the yellow wallpaper honestly
See it if two monologues that are captivating and devastating. sometimes i can zone out during long monologues but both performers are fantastic
Don't see it if looking for something flashy. gyllenhaal in particular makes you feel like he is speaking to you directly - not a whole crowd, just you.
See it if you want something fun & entertaining to do for an evening. you’re a fan of alex brightman because he’s a blast as is the rest of the cast
Don't see it if you want the creepy atmosphere of the film. sets & lighting are great, just the vibe is different. songs are mostly fun but forgettable
See it if you want to hear fantastic female vocalists and an interesting take on a real-life story
Don't see it if you are looking for traditional theater which doesn’t try to experiment a little
See it if you want to be part of the story of alice’s adventures in wonderland. this is so intimate and lovely and well done
Don't see it if you are not interested in stories told through dance or are uncomfortable in intimate settings with performers or other audience members
See it if you want to feel engaged and part of a show, you want something fun and short but surprisingly deeper than you anticipated
Don't see it if you have a hard time with thick accents, want more traditional theater
See it if you want to see a beautiful show with amazing songs and maybe learn a little history (not entirely accurate but knowledge is good)
Don't see it if you want spoken dialogue as this is all singing
See it if overall just so enjoyable, and i love love love the work of puppet audrey 2.
Don't see it if still not sure how i feel about tammy blanchard’s take on audrey as it’s so different from what i’ve seen before. didn’t stop me enjoying it
See it if an interesting, fun take on the dracula story, calling out the sexism of the times. actors are all excellent, good mix of drama and laughs
Don't see it if the feminism gets very heavyhanded as the story goes on. it’s a good message but works better in the subtler moments.
See it if you’re interested in a spooky atmospheric yet simple show done well. i didn’t feel it was slow at all, the two actors are very engaging.
Don't see it if you need music and nonstop action. also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable.
See it if this is just what you think would come from david byrne’s mind if he had a broadway show. had a blast.
Don't see it if looking for a linear storyline or traditional play.
See it if you are looking for a unique theater experience with amazing performances and the ability to explore the space and story as you please
Don't see it if you need a cohesive story or dialogue. you may move in and out of storylines which can be confusing. you don’t want to walk around for hours
See it if you’re looking for a fun way of seeing shakespeare without a proper stage and incorporating food tasting into the production. great cast.
Don't see it if you want properly staged shakespeare. my one complaint was the seating can be a bit awkward but didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment
See it if you are interested in a one-man show about family drama that combines storytelling and songs
Don't see it if you are not interested in a one-man show about family drama that combines storytelling and songs
See it if you want an interesting family/home dynamic and good acting, you want to see marin ireland sound like roseanne roseannadanna
Don't see it if you are looking for action or flair or anything that isn’t all talky
See it if you are a fan of the actors and want a quirky take on what happens after the big massacres end in classic tales
Don't see it if you can’t stand juvenile humor, or maybe if you’re a 5-year-old
See it if you want your mind blown. an extraordinary spectacle to see live that leaves you gasping at times and willing to overlook the plot holes
Don't see it if you get entirely too frustrated by plot holes or just aren’t a harry potter fan at all.
See it if you want to experience something different and unique. it is a polarizing piece and won’t be for everyone. it is truly ben whishaw’s show
Don't see it if you want a cohesive storyline and enjoy more traditional theater
