Don't see it if You don't like Blues or Tina Turner music. You don't want to see another story about a poor girl who was abused by a man.

See it if You love Sondheim. You love Patty LuPone, You love a twist on a classic. You appreciate amazing supporting characters.

Don't see it if You want a traditional story line. The book is disjointed and confusing. You have to overlook the "story;" just enjoy the performances.

See it if This show is jam packed with amazing choreography. Myles Frost is superb as MJ.

Don't see it if You don't like Michael Jackson music or don't believe he was tormented by his father.

Also This show is a true masterpiece, but sadly not marketed well. The leading lady gets a standing ovation IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOW for her emotional rendition of Let It Burn EVERY NIGHT!!

Don't see it if It is very explicit: gay sex, cursing, and pokes at the typical gospel play. One could easily be offended.

Also Think Rent meets Hamilton, Tick Tick Boom and Dear Evan Hansen. We follow Usher (a Disney Usher trying to write a musical) as he tries to come to terms with his own self loathing, sexuality, dysfunctional family and just survive a a chubby gay black man. Also Absolutely amazing. There is a dance break in almost every number. Jackman is a genius on his feet. Huge ensemble of almost 60. Lots of big production numbers. Sutton Foster is a beautiful Marion. The kids are outstanding and performing complicated and intricate choreography!!! A fun, lighthearted event.

See it if A fun entertaining jukebox musical outlining the Temptations. The actors really put it all out on stage and sing, dance and entertain.

Don't see it if If you are looking for a new take on the original. This's is just the original on steroids.

Also Vocals and staging are outstanding. There have been some lyric changes and an added song for Ellen. This version clearly presents the reasoning of the characters for the audience rather than allow the audience to mAke their own judgements.

Parental advisory, the sexual references and strip club scenes are blatant and leave nothing for the imagination. May not be suitable for younger audiences.
